Project Title
Logo Design – “Clean, Fun Lines” for Dog Grooming Business
Company / Brand Name
Debs Dog Parlor
Brand Overview
We are a modern, friendly dog grooming business that specializes in creating a comfortable, stress-free experience for dogs and their owners. We believe in simplicity, cleanliness, fun, and trust. Our goal is to make every dog feel pampered and every owner feel confident in the care we provide.

Objective
We need a logo that communicates our brand values – clean, cheerful, fun – while clearly tying in the fact that we’re focused on dog grooming (and dogs!). The logo should be versatile (usable on signage, grooming aprons, online, print materials) and scalable. It should feel approachable yet professional.
Target Audience
- Dog owners (pets are family) looking for a grooming service that is gentle, reliable, and enjoyable for their pets.
- They value aesthetics (clean and modern design), but also want a little fun and personality.
- Demographics: broadly pet-owners aged ~25-55, primarily in urban/suburban settings.
Key Message
“Your dog’s grooming experience should be clean, relaxing, and a little playful.”
We want our brand to express: care, cleanliness, joy, and dogs being dogs in a well-kept environment.
Style & Visual Elements
Must have:
- A dog (or dogs) incorporated in the logo somehow — this could be an outline, silhouette, stylized figure, or an abstract representation.
- Clean, fun lines: think minimal but with personality — no overly intricate or vintage flourishes.
- A color palette that feels fresh and friendly. (Optional guideline: maybe one primary color + one accent.)
- Typography that is clear, modern; can have a little character.
Preferred vibe:
- Friendly and welcoming, not overly serious or sterile.
- Minimalist design but with a warm touch.
- Could lean slightly geometric or linear (to emphasize “clean lines”), but still playful enough to appeal to dog-lovers.
Avoid:
- Literally cartoonish or overly cutesy looks (we want modern, not childish).
- Extremely ornate or overly decorative elements that distract from clarity.
- Designs that don’t clearly suggest dogs or grooming.
Usage
- Primary: Logo for business signage, shop front, grooming aprons/smocks.
- Secondary: Website header, social media profile & cover image, business cards, printed materials (e.g., receipts, flyers).
- Should work in full color AND in black & white / one-color version for flexibility.
Inspiration / References
- Logos that use simple line art of animals with minimal details, yet strong silhouette.
- Contemporary grooming or pet-care brand logos that combine icon + wordmark.
- Clean typography paired with a friendly icon.

Additional Notes
- We love clever uses of negative space (if appropriate) but only if it keeps things clear and not overly complex.
- Feel free to propose a subtle grooming reference (e.g., a comb, scissors, dog with a fresh trim) as long as the primary focus remains the dog figure and clean lines.
- If you can illustrate a lighthearted, fun expression (tail wag, happy face) that’s a plus — but still keeping the overall logo simple and scalable.
